First-Gen Week 2024
First-Gen Week is here! Join us to celebrate the first-generation community at UCCS for surviving and thriving yesterday, today, and every other day of the year. We have a full week of celebratory, social, and educational targeted events for you. You can also get our new First2Go pens and coasters at any of the events!
If you attend at least 5 events, you'll be entered in a drawing for Cog Railroad tickets and other prizes! Just fill out a physical passport card or keep track of your attendance here.
First2Go has new SWAG! Drop by our events for a chance to grab a First2Go tote bag, coaster, or pen. If you come to the dinner and panel on the 5th, you can grab a First2Go t-shirt. All supplies are first-come, first-serve.
Are you graduating? We're raffling off a First2Go stole, so make sure you stop by the MOSAIC table at the grad fair to drop your name in.
However you choose to participate, I hope we'll see you around! If you have any questions regarding events, please feel free to contact us by emailing first2go@uccs.edu.

Gratitude Gathering Letter Writing
Friday, November 8th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm | MOSAIC and LGBTQ+ Resource Center (UC110)
Being away from home can be tough, whether you’re missing family, friends, or just the familiar comforts of home. That’s why we are inviting you to join us for a special letter-writing event this Fall. Take a moment to pause, reflect, and put your thoughts on paper for someone special back home. We’ll provide the supplies—cards, paper, and pens—and when you’re done, we’ll take care of stamping and mailing your letter. It’s a simple, heartfelt way to stay connected with those who matter most, no matter the distance. Whether it’s a letter of love, thanks, or just catching up, stop by for a relaxed atmosphere, and let us help you send a little piece of home across the miles.
